A Peek At What We are Doing in Fifth Grade
Second Trimester report cards came home today. Please review it with your child, keep the report card, sign the envelope, and return the envelope to school. If you and your child are concerned about a subject, please contact his or her teacher in that area.

CMAS Testing Schedule
After Spring Break, we will begin CMAS testing. Students in fifth grade take ELA (Reading and Writing), Math, and Science. Students will be taking the ...
ELA test - Tues., March 28th - Thurs., March 30th
Math test - Mon., April 3rd - Thurs., April 6th
Science test - Tues., April 11 - Thurs., April 13th.
We test in the afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30. If at all possible, please avoid appoints on these days which might require your child to be absent. It is also important that students not leave early on these days, as students must finish the test the day they start. Unfortunately, this is a lot of testing that we as teachers a required to administer. As a team we do our best to keep as much instruction time intact without overwhelming the students.
